We are proud to announce that Dammers Shipmanagement N.V. is in the final stages of obtaining ISM (International Safety Management) certification, a globally recognized standard under the IMO for the safe operation of ships and pollution prevention.

With this certification, we strengthen our position as a trusted partner for full-service, safety-compliant ship management — in line with international maritime standards.

As an ISM-certified ship manager, Dammers Shipmanagement N.V. will be authorized to:

• Operate vessels under a certified Safety Management System (SMS)
  Ensuring full compliance with SOLAS, MARPOL, and STCW standards — prioritizing safety at sea and environmental protection.
  
  
• Act as Document of Compliance (DOC) holder
  We can assume full ISM responsibilities for vessels flying flags such as Curaçao, Liberia, Panama, and others, coordinating annual audits and certification.
  
  
• Implement and monitor shipboard safety procedures
  Our team can design, roll out, and supervise ship-specific safety and emergency protocols, tailored to vessel type and trading region.
  
  
• Liaise with class and flag for compliance matters
  We serve as the point of contact for Flag State inspections and Class Society audits, ensuring timely certification renewals and issue resolution.
  
  
• Train and support crew in ISM compliance
  We coordinate safety drills, provide crew familiarization, and maintain detailed records for Port State Control (PSC) readiness.
  
  
• Ensure continuous improvement
  Through internal audits, performance reviews, and corrective action tracking, we help your vessel operate at optimal safety standards.
